Where there are particular devotions to Our Lady of Sorrows, two festal Masses may be celebrated of the Seven Sorrows of the BVM, as given in the Missal after March 28: White, Gloria, commemoration of the feria, Sequence, no Credo, preface of the BVM with Et te in transfixione. For the festal Mass, because it is not de Tempore, the prayers at the foot of the altar include the psalm Iudica me, and the Gloria Patri is said as usual at the Introit and Lavabo.
