The External Solemnity of the Feast of the Holy Rosary belongs by right to this day, the first Sunday of October (RG 358a), and in 2018 this Sunday falls on the actual day of the feast (therefore resulting in the solemnization of the feast itself). In such a case, the Mass of Rosary Sunday is celebrated, the Mass being that of October 7
