The church of the feast is the Archibasilica Sanctissimi Salvatoris ac Sancti Ioannis Baptistae et Ioannis Evangelistae ad Lateranum, also known as the Papal Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of the Diocese of Rome, mater et caput omnium ecclesiarum urbis et orbis.
The Feast is a II class feast of Our Lord, which is placed above a II class Sunday in the table of precedence. The Sunday is not commemorated because it is of the same Divine Person. Since this feast falls on a II class Sunday, the commemoration of St. Theodore is omitted.
