Mass of the Feast; Gloria; Sequence Lauda Sion, Credo; common preface.

In the Mass which precedes the Procession, a second Host is consecrated and exposed in the Monstrance after Communion and before the ablutions. The remainder of the Mass continues coram Sanctissimo. Benedicamus Domino is said and the Last Gospel omitted, before the Procession departs. It is not proper on Corpus Christi to expose a Host that was previously consecrated at another Mass.


Matins: InvitatoriumĀ and hymn proper; antiphons, psalms, and lessonsĀ of the 3 nocturns are proper; Te Deum

Lauds: Proper antiphons, with Sunday psalms (1st scheme); remainder is proper

Prime: Proper antiphon, with Sunday psalms; Psalm 53 instead of 117

Hours: Proper antiphons, with Sunday psalms; remainder is proper

II Vespers: Proper antiphons and psalms (taken from I Vespers); remainder is proper

Compline: Of Sunday
