Mass of the feast, Gloria, commemoration of the feria, no Credo, common preface
Ordinary Office of the feast as done in tempus per annum. The only elements of the office different for Advent are the responsory and lectio brevis in Prime, the commemoration of the feria at Lauds and Vespers, and the Marian antiphon of Compline. In addition, the first two Matins lessons with their responsories are taken from the Advent feria as usual. This format applies to the remaining III class feasts of Advent.
Matins: Invitatorium and Hymn from the Common of Virgins; antiphons “extra tempus paschale” and psalms of the feria; first two lessons of the occurring Scripture (second and third joined); lesson 3 of the feast; Te Deum

Compline: Of the feria, with Alma Redemptoris Mater
